Driving in my car…

Here is a collection within a collection. Over the years, I have added a few Tintypes to my collection, and a few of them have been shown on this blog. I try to buy at low prices, and this has meant that I have missed many old photographs that I would have loved to add to my collection. Four of the photos, which are actually tintypes, have similar props in the form of cars or perhaps imitation cars.

I guess that when cars were new, they seemed so exotic and expensive, that it was exciting to be photographed as if you owned one.
